Schools and districts that have managed change successfully – and those that have not – have learned two basic lessons: most people are either supportive or neutral about school reform until it impacts them and there are layers of special interest groups protecting the status quo. In the session, Dr. Daggett will describe how those schools/districts that have been successful at school improvement created a culture to support change. He will then provide specific recommendations for you to use in your schools/districts to drive positive change.
