Identifying, recruiting, and developing passionate campus teacher leaders is vital to the success of every school district. Building a shared vision of future campus leaders was the driving force behind the creation and implementation of the Austin ISD Urban Education Leadership Academy. Two components vital to the success of UELA are the Principal Preparation Program and the Assistant Principal Preparation Program. These two programs content is grounded in the six AISD leadership competencies.
