David Anthony - Innovations of Promise (no money back guarantee) Require Planning and Work
Innovations of Promise (no money back guarantee) Require Planning and Work,” This session will focus on the critical processes of implementing and executing the most promising innovations for a district or campus based on specific needs identified by data analytics.  Implementation of a successful strategy or innovation in another district does not guarantee success, nor does a failed effort in another district mean the strategy/innovation is flawed.  Following a well-defined process for new strategies or innovative ideas is critical for school districts due to   limited resources and intense scrutiny from internal and external stakeholders.
This session will provide attendees a clearly defined and articulated process to increase the potential for a successful implementation that will increase effectiveness and/or efficiency, depending on the purpose of the new strategy.
Information will be presented but the intent is to include audience participation through questions and sharing of innovative strategies or initiatives.

Bill Daggett - Understanding WHY We Need to Change: Culture Trumps Strategy
Schools and districts that have managed change successfully – and those that have not – have learned two basic lessons: most people are either supportive or neutral about school reform until it impacts them and there are layers of special interest groups protecting the status quo. In the session, Dr. Daggett will describe how those schools/districts that have been successful at school improvement created a culture to support change. He will then provide specific recommendations for you to use in your schools/districts to drive positive change.

Ray McNulty - Future Ready Today — Where Best Practices Meet Next Practices
The future is not some place we are going to, but rather what we are creating with our everyday actions. If we focus only on the practices that have been successful in the past, the education system will never be transformed. The International Center believes that educators need to be the agents of change, which requires us not only to have a future‐focused vision and agenda, but also to behave our way into the future. Ray McNulty will describe how some educators and schools are leading their way into the future, share a glimpse of emerging near‐, mid‐, and far‐term education trends, and push everyone’s thinking about learning in the years ahead!
