Rob Musfeldt has served in the Office of Leadership Development for Austin ISD since July 2014. Prior to moving into a central administration role, he served as assistant   principal at Murchison Middle School for eight years. Mr. Musfeldt began his career in education as an 8th grade U.S. History teacher in Round Rock ISD, a position he held for eleven years. He received his bachelor’s degree from Concordia Lutheran College, Austin in 1995, and earned his Master’s of Public Administration from Southwest Texas State University, San Marcos in December of 2002. Mr. Musfeldt went on to secure his Texas Principal Certification from ESC Region XIII PCN in 2006. As part of the Office of Talent Acquisition and Development, Mr. Musfeldt leads the Assistant Principal Preparation Program (AP3), the Austin ISD administrator appraisal system (Campus Administrator Performance Review), as well as conducting leadership coaching, and designing and leading professional learning opportunities for administrators from across the district.
